Zingiber mioga ‘Silver Arrow’

(MIOGA GINGER) Unusual edible plant that grows in cool winter areas.  It forms a colony of stems 28-30” tall and 3’ wide with  leaves softly marbled with silver on stems that provide the tropical look of ginger in a temperate garden! Orange-yellow, fall flower buds form at the base of the plant that are a prized ingredient in Asian noodle dishes.  Easy in loose, fertile soil, enjoys morning sun or light shade and regular moisture.
