Trillium kurabayashii

Sublime and sought after Trillium native to SW Oregon. These seedlings were chosen for their heavily marked foliage of contrasty burgundy-black by the O’Byrnes at Northwest Nursery. Sessile erect flowers are deep red on 12-18” stems April>May. Happiest in shade to part shade with well-drained, humus rich, moist soil, expanding slowly to 2’+ wide clumps.  Our plants will be 6 years in 2024 so bloom should be imminent.
