RARE, beautiful clumping bamboo – 15-18' tall - Powder blue culms! - Airy, light texture & graceful habit - Stems are mostly naked below, foliage plumes out nicely above, requires only a small space in the garden - Himalayan form that can take cold (10F) – Happiest in morning sun or light shade, but takes significant shade - Appreciates humusy, rich soils and summer water – Well behaved and looks good even in the most dreadful PNW winters!
