Spiraea nipponica 'Peacock'

You can't have too many Spiraeas! This 'flashy bird' struts his stuff in the form of a 3-4' mounding, deciduous shrub…adorned with bright rose pink clusters of flowers in May. New growth is tinged with red hues…and the frilly edged foliage makes for an interesting shrub even when its out of bloom! Easy to grow in most soils with moderate water…sun in cool areas, light shade where summers are hot.
