Pyrrosia lingua ‘Hiryu’

This most amazing and rare Tongue Fern cultivar sets a high bar with its deeply serrated semi-evergreen leaves (the serration increasing with age) and felted undersides with a coppery hue...calling it ‘highly textural’ is an understatement.  We have had visitors swoon almost to fainting as they cast eyes on this plant! Leaves are 8-10” tall on slow-spreading rootstock.  Epiphytic, so needs excellent drainage, walls, stumps, pots, can also be grown indoors.
