Polypodium scouleri

A sweet evergreen fern native to our west coast, fronds are 6-12” tall on slowly expanding rhizomes. Excellent performer near the coast, tolerates some salt…often seen growing on trees in its native haunts. Will take some drying out and enjoys good drainage…resents heat so site in deeper shade in inland valleys.
