Podophyllum pleianthum

Clumping perennial with incredible large glossy leaves to a foot across on 2’ stems (each plant has one stem, so each year more stems). May maroon flowers hanging below leaves, followed by red or yellow fruit. Part to full shade; moist, organic, acidic soil (resents going dry!). Elegant, artsy, lusted after!
