Papaver orientale 'Coral Reef'

Light coral pink tissue paper petals surround dramatic black centers on this large flowered perennial poppy. Flowers dance on 28-32 inch stems over tight clumps of hairy lance shaped leaves 20” wide in late spring. A vigorous selection with good longevity for full sun, most soils; needs moisture during growth & flowering, then drought tolerant. Deer and critter resistant. Attractive poppy seed heads.
