Omphalodes cappadocica ‘Starry Eyes’

(Navelwort) A perennial forget-me-not!  Lavender blue flowers with picotee white edges April > June on 8-10” tall plants with attractive evergreen leaves are striking at woodland edge.  Slow spreaders never stray too far from where they were planted.  Prefers moist soil, but tolerates some dry shade…dappled light is perfect, but takes some sun in cooler climate zones.  A great spring bulb cover as well as a niche grower on shady garden walls…this cultivar is more compact than the species, with bigger flowers.
