Impatiens gomphophylla

Tall, fleshy stems to 4’ on this tuberous perennial, more upright than spreading at about 2’ wide (more over time). 1” exotic flowers (remind me of parrots) are held close to the stem from top to bottom. bi-colored red and yellow for a bright orange look. Typical impatiens culture, bright shade, morning sun, moist, well drained rich soil. Reputedly hardy to USDA Z7
