Hemiboea subacaulis var. Jiangxiensus

Rare, hardy Gesneriad makes a patch of BIG hairy leaves often with purple veins that make this plant garden worthy…but then for frosting, light pink flowers with heavily speckled yellow throats in clusters in fall; 6-8”h x 3’w; give this nice, organic soil with decent drainage…AM sun to light shade and moist, not wet soil.  Mulch for winter when plants die back.
