Gaultheria procumbens 'Cherry Berry'

Sweet little evergreen subshrub, 6-12" tall, creeping out out to 2-3' wide. Foliage is glossy and dark green with a minty fragrance when crushed and purples in cold weather. Small, white urn shaped summer flowers give way to bright red, LARGE, showy, edible berries in winter that last for MONTHS.  Nice holiday décor. Part to full shade, moist soil with decent drainage (not soggy). Woodland ground cover, pots, rock garden.
