Gardenia jasminoides 'Frostproof'

A more hardy Gardenia that can take temps to single digits…upright 5’ high and 4’ wide with typical glossy green evergreen foliage. Fragrant creamy white flowers repeat late spring to fall. Light shade, more sun on cooler climates, avoid hot afternoon scorching. Likes good acidic garden soils, regular water; does well in pots, but then not as hardy!
