Dryopteris dilatata 'Crispa Whiteside'

Why do ferns have such long names?? Compact (unlike its name) and frilly, evergreen to 24”. Accepts some sun and will tolerate some dryness…good under trees, in wall niches…also great in containers where its intricacies can be fully appreciated. A rarely offered ‘woodland lace’e and long lived – great for a specimen, barrier, screening, especially appreciated in winter! Sun to part shade, most soils, drought tolerant.
