Disporum longistylum ‘Monlift’

Need a living, vertical piece of garden art?   Stems rise like purpled asparagus in spring to 6’, unfurling into green leafed columns decorated with ivory bells that morph to blue berries in fall/winter.  This plant from Windcliff has an elegant bamboo look without any bamboo problems!  I can’t imagine using it for anything other than an eye catching specimen.   Semi-evergreen (cut old stems down in late winter), bright shade, regular moisture, well drained and organic soil.
