Chrysoplenium macrophyllum

Seldom offered woodland ground cover with mini Bergenia-like leaves and a spreading habit like Saxifraga. Rosettes of fuzzy foliage send out runners to create a 4-6” tall & 4’ wide patch in a several years (easy to pull where you want to limit its spread). Unusual sputnik spring flowers in clusters are pink and white and go for weeks. Moist shade in decent soil make this happy!
