Carex comans ‘Frosted Curls’

Ever so cute and fluffy ‘hairy sedge’!  An 18-24”, permed mop of extra fine, olive green leaves that mature to a buffy color.  Contrast this with big leaved plants, use it as path edging, group near boulders plunk into pots…looks great near pavers and stepping stones too!  Sun to part shade, edaphically tolerant (sandy well drained best), takes some drought, deer proof;  evergreen.
