Billbergia nutans 'Blondie'

An all golden sport of an unidentified species (B.sanderana?) of variegated Billbergia. Retains its bright color even in shade…good vigor, 18-24". Our plants have seen frost with no effect; we find the genus to be hardier than references indicate but until our testing is complete you should treat this as a Brazilian and bring her in for winter. Long lasting early summer flowers, pendulous tubes of rose with cornflower blue accents, quite surreal! Well drained soil, let dry between watering, fill cups.
