Berberis thunbergii 'Bagatelle'

Very compact, neat and tidy shrub is all decked out in deep garnet foliage! Rising to only 12" and spreading to 18", this small, deciduous shrub is very versatile, and it requires NO PRUNING. Small bright yellow flowers stand out against the leaves in spring and small, brilliant red berries dangle from the bare branches in the winter like tiny colored droplets. Sun, fertile, well drained soil, deer resistant, drought tolerant and fall color too (brilliant scarlet and orange).
