Azara microphylla 'Variegata'

Outstanding selection for a small tree or an effortless espalier! 10’ tall and 5-8’ wide with evergreen, yellow and green small foliage on arching, graceful branches; best on a warm wall or in a corner. Sun to part shade, average garden soils, summer moisture. So beautiful with its lacy, arching branches, tiny flowers that smell like vanilla (some say chocolate) January > February.  Dies back in temps colder than 10 degrees but has regrown for us after 5 degrees.
