Aucuba japonica 'Mr Goldstrike'

Evergreen shrub for shade (as in no direct sun) with large leaves heavily speckled with yellow gold, so bright in the darker garden areas! Moderate growth 4-5' high and wide; this is a male cultivar so no berries but will pollinate your female Aucuba if you have some around. Most soils, regular moisture, easy, symmetrical pleasing shape without pruning. I would not be without this shrub in the shade, such a great 'bones' selection!
