Aucuba japonica 'Cecil-Alice'

Dense, compact 3-4’ evergreen shrub that requires shade (no direct sun) with large leaves irregularly flecked and spotted with yellow gold. This selection was introduced by Plant Delights and I was delighted to find it! This genus needs to be more of a go-to selection for shade gardens and dark corners... it looks good all year with no down time. Most soils, water when dry. Grow baby.
