Astelia nivicola 'Red Devil'

Perennial 12-18” rosettes of arching, narrow evergreen pointed leaves that are bronzy red with a silver overlay, deepening to purple red in winter. Enjoys the coast, light shade inland, moderate water needs (does not thrive in dry soils). A pleasingly architectural and textural plant!
