Aspidistra elatior ‘Ippin’

Sought after selection from Japan with 2’ tall, evergreen leaves that are 1-3” wide and heavily striped in striking, vertical swathes of silver. Late fall-early winter alien flowers of purple at bases of leaves.  Light to full shade, best in rich, moist soil, best in protected spot; splendid house pet too!
