Anthriscus sylvestris 'Ravenswing'

Another perennial I have banned from my garden, back by popular demand! Very pretty, ferny leaves of lacy burgundy purple form loose mounds 18-20” wide; I find part shade is best…enjoys some moisture but survives some dry shade too. Branching stems are topped with delicate umbels of white flowers early summer. This gal really seeds around so I suggest you remove spent flowers before they go to seed…unless you really really like this plant a LOT. Pretty but promiscuous!
