Anemone nemorosa 'Royal Blue'

Gorgeous little vernal creeper for the woodland edge, rarely taller than 6", foliage appearing in late winter blanketed in April and May with lavender blue flowers… very showy especially where it forms large patches. Let the rhizomes wander, they live in harmony with neighbors! Light shade, loamy organic soils; summer moisture delays the inevitable dormancy, can thrive on natural rainfall most years. Deer and critter resistant.
