Long lived bulbous perennials with naked, leafless stems to 24” emerging August Sept, topped with large pink clusters of lightly fragrant funnel shaped flowers…leaves come up only AFTER the flowers have faded. Foliage lasts thru the rainy winter into spring, then do a disappearing act for summer. These South Africans enjoy a sunny hot spot and loamy soil which is dry in summer. Bulbs get huge and offset freely. Thrives on neglect! Critter resistant. Z8 (Z7 with mulch)
