Lush, tropical looking ground cover, evergreen in mild areas with glossy 6” leaves with perfect silver brush strokes, slowly spreading in good soil with regular water (but not too wet) in bright shade.  With enough warmth, you may get short red flower spikes in May but grown mainly for its foliage.
