These wonderful alliums always draw exclamations from visitors while they are in bloom! HUGE open clusters to 12” across explode on one foot stems in late May, looking like a rose purple fireworks event! Long after the flowers fade, the dried remains resemble intriguing sculptural elements in the garden or in the vase... we like to hit them with a poof of colorful spray paint for fun!
