Veronicastrum virginicum ‘Cupid‘

(Culver’s Root) Easy to grow perennial with tall stems 3-4’ tall topped with dramatic amethyst spikes resembling arrows late summer to early fall.  Very architectural!  Stems are whorled with handsome serrated emerald foliage.  Needs full sun, well drained moist to wet soil and attracts butterflies.  Plant clumps are 2-3’ wide.
