Trachycarpus fortunei

(Chinese Windmill Palm) Probably the hardiest palm for us in the Pacific Northwest; beautiful large fan leaves bristle sweetly in breezes. Moderate growth 10-20’ tall, narrow trunk; full sun, warm spot, soil with decent drainage, consistent moisture while young then drought tolerant; deer resistant. Best sheltered from the worst winter winds.
