Aster oblongifolium 'October Skies' - avail spring

(AROMATIC ASTER) Bushy, compact perennials 1-2’ high and wide; blue to blue-purple rays surround yellow disk centers in profusion in fall (August>October). Butterfly and bee magnet. Native to Midwest, this late bloomer is nice in boquets. Easily grown in full sun, sandy to clay soils and tolerates drought but prefers regular moisture. Foliage is fragrant when bruised or crushed. Critter resistant.
