Saxifraga hirsuta ‘Watermelon Froth’

Little beauty from ‘Rhododendron Species Garden’…evergreen, ground hugger with toothed, kidney-shaped foliage that creates a low mound in moist, partly shaded places; a couple of inches tall and 8-10” spread; frothy pink stars on stems several inches tall in early summer are showy and last for a few weeks.
