Reineckea carnea

Unusual and rarely offered this evergreen perennial looks like a large leafed Mondo Grass, but will cover the ground faster! Nice ground cover in open woodland or around shrubs, prefers moist shade but will take more sun if it gets enough water. 3-8" tall, spreading; light pink flowers followed by red berries; glossy, rich foliage. Also performs very well in containers.
