Primula capitata ssp. mooreana

From the east Himalayas in SW China, this lovely perennial sports tight rosettes of semi-evergreen leaves… deep violet flattened globe heads of petals topped by a generous dusting of silvery powder n 8-14” stems, late spring to summer.  Enjoys a cool position in part shade and rich, moist but well drained soil.
