Physostegia virginiana ‘Crystal Peak White’

Award winning, shorter ‘Obedient Plant’ with 12"-15” tall upright, non-flop stems topped by spikes of white July>September attracting bees, butterflies and hummers. Plants spread by rhizomes but less aggressively than species; tolerant of wet soil so a good choice for bogs, rain gardens…also performs well in average soil with moderate water.  Easy.
