Penstemon ‘Blackbeard’ PP30052

Tough perennial 2.5’- 3’ tall stems rising from 2’ wide, tight clumps of stunning, rich purple-black foliage, loads of tubular, lavender-lilac blooms May > July. Sturdy stems are non-flop and don’t require staking.  Full sun, average soil, water when dry (drought tolerant).  Attracts hummers, easy to grow.
