Nectaroscordum siculum ssp. bulgaricum

(SICILIAN HONEY GARLIC) Bulbous perennial of distinction native to Italy and France. From clumps of blue green foliage come 3’ tall, upright stems in late spring bearing exotic clusters of nodding, white bells heavily marked with burgundy. Best in dryish soils in sun (tolerates light shade) in well drained soils. A perfect Mediterranean! Easy to grow and very intriguing, especially since it is infrequently available!
