Kniphofia caulescens

Four foot, fat spikes of yellow topped by burning orange July to August (frequently into fall for us) over semi-evergreen to evergreen, curving, blue green, architectural foliage. This species is more tolerant of irrigation than others. Hummers adore the flowers. Foliage forms clumps about 3’ wide and 2’ tall. Easy to grow.
