Ixia sp. mixed

Colorful perennials from corms hailing from South Africa that enjoy a baking hot location!  Narrow, pointed foliage grows in winter followed by spikes of star-shaped flowers floating on wiry stems in jewel tones with contrasting darker eyes early summer. Water during growth/bloom season.  Best DRY in summer>fall when dormant. Especially nice in Mediterranean gardens. Drought and critter resistant. Cut flowers.
