Eucalyptus gunnii

(CIDER GUM) A more dependable choice for the Pacific Northwest from Tasmania, reaching 30-40’ tall and about half as wide in 10-12 years; evergreen, with juvenile foliage, blue-silver, rounded and whorled on stems, prized by floral arrangers (fresh & dried).  Eventually morphs to a more standard mature leaf shape, silver-green and pointed, unless tree is coppiced to maintain juvenile growth for cutting. Plant in full sun, average soil, eventually drought tolerant; deer resistant
