Echinacea pallida

Great pollinator plant and also seed for the birds in fall. 2-3’ tall stems from tight 18” wide clumps of narrow foliage topped with pale lavender flowers with interesting, slender, drooping petals early summer; dark brown cone centers with a coppery hue. Sun to part shade. Well drained soil, more drought tolerant than rest of genus, deer rest.
