Dryopteris pseudofilix-mas

(Mexican Male Fern) Sweet semi-evergreen fern with erect 30” fronds clumping to 3’ wide hails from higher altitudes of alpine forests in Guatemala and Mexico; easily grown in part to full shade, consistently moist organic soils; protect fronds from desiccating winter winds.  Tolerant of heat and humidity.
