Dianthus caryophyllus 'Chomley Farran'

Another ‘DRAMA QUEEN’ we found in a corner at Heronswood years ago…Fluffy double flowers are silver violet and overlaid with blazing scarlet streaks…reminds me of swirled salt water taffy – 20” h x 12” w – A wowser of a cut flower – Full sun, well drained soils with a bit of lime in our area – Also pots well – Don’t know who ‘Chomley’ is, but she must be a zippy dresser!
