Daphne tangutica

One of the EASIER Daphnes to grow!  Evergreen shrub 3-4’ high and wide, deep green shiny foliage.  Clusters of spring flowers from rose-red buds are ivory blushed pink and fragrant; intermittent blooms during summer.  Bright red clusters of fall berries follow the flowers, showy. Best in well drained or sandy soil in sun to light shade (avoid hot PM sun) with regular water (tolerates some drought). Symmetrical, formal shape. Deer, critter and slug/snail resistant.
