Cuphea ‘David Verity‘

(Large Firecracker Plant) Fast growing, dense, rounded shrub 3-4’ with masses of tubular, cigar shaped red-orange flowers June to frost; evergreen to about 15 degrees and a dieback perennial to at least 5 degrees. A sun worshipper, David V. enjoys a well-drained garden soil (or pot culture) and occasional moisture; drought tolerant. This is hummer crack!
