Crocosmia ‘Red King’

More manageable sized red-flowered Montbretia!  The old ‘Lucifer’ cultivar was named after the devil for a reason…now there’s a compact version that’s much more angelic! 14” tall clumps of sword shaped foliage give rise to 2’ flower stems of scarlet flowers late summer.  Decent garden soil, water when dry, sunny spot; divide every 3-4 years. 100% hummer approved!
