Fast multiplying cormous perennial that sends up smaller than most, strappy foliage in spring that is dormant by summer with naked blooms in fall – goblet shaped, lavender-purple, with bluish undertones and a slightly checkered pattern 6-7” high x 3-4”wide, mid-Sept to early Oct. Thrives in sun in well-drained soil, appreciates moisture during growth and bloom periods, fine with dry during summer dormancy. Deer/critter resistant. All parts are toxic.
