Colchicum ‘Lilac Wonder’

Cormous perennial that sends up strappy foliage in spring that is dormant by summer with naked blooms in fall – large lilac flowers with 6 well separated petals 8-10” high, prolific and multiple blooming mid to late September. Thrives in sun in well-drained soil, appreciates moisture during growth and bloom periods, fine with dry during summer dormancy. Deer/critter resistant.  All parts are toxic.
