Colchicum ‘Jochum Hoff’

Cormous perennial that sends up strappy foliage in spring that is dormant by summer with naked blooms in fall – large goblet shaped purple, grape scented flowers with white throats. Powerful scent and distinct color make this a favorite! Blooms mid to late September. Sun, well-drained soil, appreciates moisture during growth and bloom periods, fine with dry during summer dormancy. Deer/critter resistant.  All parts are toxic.
